Students will examine models of leadership with attention to the theological and ecclesiological context of the pastor’s calling. Emphasis will be placed on the interplay of competency and character as primary issues that contribute to leadership in the context of the church. The course seeks to develop an understanding of the theory and practice of leadership in the corporate and local settings of the church as well as the administrative practices that support spiritual leadership.
