'06 MDiv Cohort Orientation:

The new cohort for '06 has just completed their on-campus Orientation and set a new benchmark.  They are the largest and most diversified cohort so far!  15 pastors in training from all across the United States, they include 3 women, 1 Japanese, 1 Brazilian, 6 Hispanics and 5 African-Americans.  Comparatively, this demographics group very closely resembles our Seminary campus composition.

Orientation is not only a learning and orienting time, but our best opportunity to bond such a diverse group into a supportive, caring and compassionate team or cohort.  This occurred not only through experiencing classes together, but via a banquet, ice cream trip, lake-side vespers, trip to Battle Creek's Historic Adventist Village, canoing down the St. Joseph River, eating out together, and the Agape Feast Dedication.  Here is the '06 Cohort during these activities.
