MDiv Admission Process
Prerequisites:

Hold an undergraduate bachelors degree, preferably in theology or religion

Actively engaged in some local form of ministry
-
Committed to the necessary personal discipline required

Remain in a mentoring relationship throughout InMinistry
-
Resolved to excel in spiritual, personal and professional growth
-
Willing to incorporate theological learning in local context and priority
-
Committed to participating with and supporting your cohort

MAPMin Admission Process:
Admission to the MA in Pastoral Ministry is based on the following requirements in addition to the general admission requirements for all graduate students and the general Seminary admission requirements, including the Psychological evaluation:
Ministerial Applicants
Lay Leader Applicants

Be at least 35 years of age
-
Demonstrate extensive, active, and successful ministry such as Sabbath school teacher, youth leader, elder, deacon, etc. for at least the last 5 years.

Be Recommended by their local church pastor and local conference leadership.
Admission Procedures
Each applicant in either program must submit the following documents and data to the Graduate Admissions Office:

An application fee
-
A completed Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire

An official transcript from each college/university attended
-
Three recommendations:

From a conference administrator/employer who is well acquainted with the applicant's work

From a colleague in pastoral ministry or church pastor if applicant is a lay leader
-
From a local church elder well acquainted with the current work of the applicant
-
A career history
-
A statement of purpose (350 words) for seeking this degree.
