Issues In Origin
Nov 8-12, 2009

by John Baldwin, PhD
&
Ariel Roth, PhD

Northern California Conference Office
Pleasant Hill, CA

Course Objectives:

The course provides the pastor with an opportunity to deepen his or her interest in the issues in science and religion, and an occasion to think originally, and critically concerning the relation of science and religion. To do so, the course describes, analyzes and evaluates the most recent biblical and scientific evidence concerning selected questions regarding origins and earth history in relation to the biblical creation and flood narratives.

From a very practical point of view the course focuses on the riches of God’s creation as revealed in the natural sciences, and provides material which will be useful for Bible studies, sermons, and also shows pastors how to conduct a science and religion seminar in their local church.
