Course Objective:



This course, The Doctrine of the Church, seeks to fulfill the following objectives:

1. To study the nature of the Christian community as described in the New Testament.

2. To study the historical, social, and theological contexts within which modern ecclesiology emerged.

3. To relate the doctrine of the Church to Seventh-day Adventism and its pastoral ministry. This will include a constructive approach to some of the ecclesiological issues faced by Adventist ecclesiology in the 21st century.
