Course Objective:
|
- To study the major trends in nineteenth and twentieth century theology including Liberalism,neo-orthodoxy, Fundamentalism, and their influence on theological thought on the threshold of the
twenty-first century.
- To learn from advances in knowledge and the mistakes of such creative minds as
Schleiermacher, Ritchel, Schweitzer, Rauschenbusch, Barth, Bonhoeffer.
- To identify the trends which influenced the present theological situation and prepare a minister for a creative response to them.
