Course Objective:

A. Identify and apply basic tools of Old Testament exegesis as a forndation for sermon preparation.
B. Review the basics of sermon preparation with the emphasis on expository
preaching.
C. Develop principles for preaching from the book of Daniel.
D. Historical and literary background of the book of Daniel.
E. Exegetical study of the book of Daniel.
F. Prepare cogent sermon outlines on various sections of the book of Daniel.
G. Preach an effective sermon on a chosen passage from the book of Daniel.
